Things you should know about City Bike Tampa…
Downtown Tampa’s large expanse of urban attractions is the perfect place to ride anything from a cruiser bike to a lightweight road racing bicycle and anything in between. Bayshore Blvd Linear Park is over 4.5 miles long (in each direction) which is the perfect compliment to historic Hyde Park, Davis Island, Ybor City, Channelside, UT, the Riverwalk and downtown city streets for the ultimate urban experience!
We are authorized dealers for several of the hottest lines of high quality bicycles from Bianchi, Orbea, Jamis, Pedego, KHS and Eastern. Please email us, subscribe via RSS or subscribe below for more information.

In our downtown store located at 212 E. Cass Street we also offer full repair services with sales of bicycle accessories and parts.
Our “Rental Hut” located at the Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina offers rentals of Jamis Boss Cruisers, KHS Greenbikes and tandem bicycles. Call (813.225.1777) or email us for hours of availability or other inquiries.
For your comfort and ease most bikes have quick release seat height adjustment. Law requires helmets for those under 16 years of age. For a better fit you may choose to bring your own helmet. We will also gladly install and remove your clipless pedals on our premium rental bikes at no additional charge if you choose to bring them.
A credit card deposit is required for all rentals, no exceptions.

Participating in charitable events for groups like the Lighthouse for the Blind, environmental activism promotions like “Go Green Night” at The Forum, organizing team building outings for local and visiting professionals, instructing bicyclists on proper techniques for safely navigating the urban landscape, providing tours and organized activities through Tampa Bay & Co. for visiting convention planners, weekly guided history tours and our relatively infamous “Urban Restaurant Tours” are the activities that get us and our staff out of the shop and onto the streets that we love.
When we embarked on this journey to build City Bike Tampa we selected Tampa’s downtown for a host of reasons, none of which were based on quick turnaround or “pump and dump” style business tactics. We came to build a business with a long term strategy focused on the needs of a growing community. We paced our growth on a rate of expansion that is consistent with that of our community.
Since opening in 2009, we have focused on products and services that meet the needs of local residents, businesses, community development groups and visitors. Customer feedback, repeat clientele, online reviews and of course revenue growth indicate that we are effectively delivering value to those that we serve.
