Do you have a compelling story describing how owning a bicycle would change your life?
Enter words for wheels. You could win a bicycle! (due 3/22/2010).
We are proud to welcome the addition of a new member to the City Bike Tampa Family.
Mike Weimar joined forces with City Bike Tampa last week and has already made a significant impact on not only our level of service, but more than doubled the total years of experience in technical knowledge around bicycle repair and maintenance that our shop has to offer.
Mike is not just an accomplished bicycle mechanic and photojournalist, he is also a strong advocate for bicycling throughout the Tampa Bay community which is reflected through his work with the Tampa Bay Bike Co-Op and other bike shops and organizations in the bay area.
Our service docket is stacking up daily, but we are still able to turn most jobs around within 24 hours now that we have teams working in 2 shifts. Now is a great time to bring you bike in for a tune up OR have us pick it up for you at no additional cost in the 33602, 33606, 33609 or 33611 zip codes.
Crazy as it may sound, we will be closed on Saturday January 30 and re-opening with normal hours on January 31. Please enjoy the holiday, plan ahead and pillage the town safely. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Arghhh!
The Grand Opening on July 2 had a great showing despite the fact that so many people had already scooted out of town for the long holiday weekend. For those of you who made it…thanks for your support and for those of you who couldn’t be there, below are some images captured by our friend Alan Snell from SWFBUD.
Tomorrow’s City Times edition of the St Pete Times will feature this article about City Bike Tampa’s opening next week. Gotta love that free publicity!
Thanks Sharon Ginn for the excellent write up and the kind words of encouragement. We look forward to seeing all of you starting Tuesday, June 23rd.
