Tampa Bay Lightning Invites You to City Bike Night – It is St. Patrick’s Day and we are rolling out to watch the Bolts slam the Blues. Check out the promo flyer for deeply discounted ticketing options.

The itinerary for the evening looks like this:

• (5:00 – 6:30) Meet up at Pizza Fusion (map)
• (6:30 – 6:45) Ride to Tampa Bay Times Forum – They will have a bike corral set up with attendants to check us in. Tickets can be purchased at the advertised price upon arrival for any riders who still need them.
• (7:00) Game Time! – Tickets can also be purchased in advance by calling (813.301.6735) or you can email Josh Jones at the Forum and mention “City Bike Night” should you have questions or require additional information.

…and don’t let me forget to mention that the TB Lightning Pizza Fusion will be honoring us with $3 drafts and 20% off food orders for this special event!

Cigar City Brewing Criterium and Street Festival – Presented by Bright House Networks is no doubt the high-point event of the month. City Bike Tampa will be set up in the Expo area and the race course is all new this year.

In addition to the day-long amateur and professional bike races, the street festival will offer spectators plenty to do and see. A few highlights include:

RENTAL FLEET SELL-OFF REMINDER

On February 11, 2012 starting at 9am we will be making space for our 2012 rental fleet with the sale of our entire fleet of Boss Cruisers, Kona Humus, Kona Africabikes, Kona Honky Tonks, Tandem, trail-a-bikes and all other units in our rental fleet.

This is your opportunity to get a professionally maintained USED bicycle at a great price, but supplies are limited and once they are gone, you will need to wait until next year to find a deal like this.

Come by the shop this Monday (11/7/2011) at 5:30 pm for a free lesson on one of the most useful do-it-yourself bicycle repairs at your finger tips.

Learn how to change a flat starting with removing the wheel from your bicycle all the way through to replacing the tube, tire, proper inflation, re-installing the wheel, ensuring brakes are safely reset and an overview of the basic tools required to do the job right.

Cost of the event is $30 per person (plus applicable service fees: $2), which includes a $10 donation to the ALS Foundation, Florida Chapter, your Cinebistro movie ticket and delectable tastings at Malios Prime, Mise En Place and Timpano Italian Chop House.

Due to the size of our restaurant and theater venues for this event, seating is STRICTLY limited to 100 guests. We strongly suggest reserving your seats today.

Event Details:

Come celebrate Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day with The Irish Scramble presented by Four Green Fields (205 W. Platt St. Tampa, FL 33606 | 813-254-4444)! The Irish Scramble is a unique fast paced urban adventure race. Teams of 2 or 3 race around the city solving clues and looking for checkpoints. Racers begin on their bikes for the first half of the race, then dismount to complete checkpoints and obstacles on foot. Participants then remount their 2 wheeled steeds and race to the finish line!

Wear a costume and dress in green, because we’re Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day!
