City Bike Tampa is now your downtown and South Tampa Orbea dealer! This means you have a new option for sales, service and any old or new warranty issues if you currently own an Orbea.
One of the things we are very excited for is the My-O feature that Orbea just introduced this year. It’s a way to get a semi-custom bike built with the parts you want. This will let us pick correctly sized parts like stem, bars, seat, crank length and more. Not to mention paint color, wheels choices, bar tape. You instantly will see the price, weight plus additional info. Just share this with us and your dream bike will be a few days away!
Why not give it a test ride right now: Click to access My-O
Of course, like our other great bicycle options from Jamis, Bianchi, Pedego, KHS and Eastern, we will also stock an assortment of “out of the box” Orbeas for you to test ride at your convenience.
We expect our first shipment of Orbea bicycles to hit our sales floor in about a week. Stop in (212 E. Cass Street, Tampa, FL 33602), call the shop (813-225-1777) or email us if you would like information.
Thank you for choosing City Bike Tampa.

Our big rental fleet sell off is this Saturday, 2/11/2012 starting at 9:00 AM and will take place at our Rental Hut located on the Riverwalk beside the Harbour Island bridge (between the Tampa Convention Center and the Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina).

This month’s Urban Restaurant Tour is almost SOLD OUT and due to prior commitments by the TMA and SONO Cafe, we will not be leaving from SONO Cafe this month. Our NEW REGISTRATION AND DEPARTURE location is Martini Republic (912 Franklin Street, Tampa, FL 33602).
Earlier this week Kellie was interviewed by our friend and occasional Urban Restaurant Tour rider, Brendan McLaughlin on the topic of Florida sales tax and Internet purchases.
Just a few weeks ago Princeton University rowing teams were on the Hillsborough River training and recently posted this video to the Princeton Crew website. Check it out to see some really great shots of our downtown waterfront…
We look forward to seeing you on the 11th if you are looking for a great bike on the cheap for our rental fleet sell off and again on the 23rd for this month’s Urban Restaurant Tour.
If you haven’t heard of PEDEGO™ electric bicycles, please allow us to introduce you to an experience unlike what you may have expected from an electric bicycle.

In Stock NOW! Call or visit us for a test ride.
PEDEGO™ was conceived in 2007 to create a line of electric bikes that combine style and function to open up cycling to anyone who might otherwise not be getting the benefits from bike riding. PEDEGO™ electric bikes make biking much more accessible to the 98% of the population who aren’t currently cyclists.

PEDEGO™ designed all of its electric bikes to offer a new and promising alternative form of urban transportation. They provide all the advantages of a regular bicycle: fun, exercise, free parking, zero emissions and freedom from gridlock while eliminating one of the bicycle’s more serious drawbacks, lack of power.

Fundamentally, a PEDEGO™ bike is just like a regular bicycle with a quiet built-in electric hub motor to provide additional assistance. You can pedal normally and just use the motor to help out or use the motor all the time just to make riding easier. The experience is entirely different from riding a gas scooter or motorbike. The electric assistance is perfectly smooth and silent which complements, rather than supplants, human power.
Check some PEDEGO™ electric bicycles in action or stop by our shop for a test ride!
