We have a crazy box of prizes lined up for this week’s Urban Restaurant Tour and with Gasparilla just around the corner it seems like a great opportunity for you and your Krewe to don your most insane pillaging apparel and ravage the streets before the towns-folk have adequately prepared themselves!
This Thursday evening’s event (1/26/2012) is sold out and for those of you who were unable to reserve spots, please be aware that we have a great line up for February 23rd (to be announced during the first week of February) and will have only 120 spots available on a first-come first-served basis.

RENTAL FLEET SELL-OFF REMINDER
On February 11, 2012 starting at 9am we will be making space for our 2012 rental fleet with the sale of our entire fleet of Boss Cruisers, Kona Humus, Kona Africabikes, Kona Honky Tonks, Tandem, trail-a-bikes and all other units in our rental fleet.

This is your opportunity to get a professionally maintained USED bicycle at a great price, but supplies are limited and once they are gone, you will need to wait until next year to find a deal like this.
City Bike Tampa Promotes Urban Living
This is a BYOB Event (Bring Your Own Bike) for guests 18 and older. Helmets are highly recommended. Both FRONT & REAR lights are required by law, therefore, required to participate in our tours. We will be checking bikes in when you sign in at SONO Café. Please make sure your equipment is on your bike and in working order before you arrive. You will not be allowed to attend the event without proper equipment and we will NOT provide a refund due to your own neglect of this law. NO EXCEPTIONS.
City Bike Tampa, their sponsors and restaurants are NOT responsible for cyclists/equipment. We have asked the participating venues to provide food for our guests. The decision to imbibe is left up to each individual rider. Participants ride at their own risk.

Location Information
This sale will be held at our Rental Hut on the Riverwalk, located on the west side of the Harbour Island bridge between the Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina and the Tampa Convention Center. The sale will start promptly at 9am and end when all units are sold.

November Urban Restaurant Tour On Sale NOW!
Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday later this month, we have moved this month’s Thursday evening Urban Restaurant Tour closer to mid-month and cancelled the Tuesday evening tour.
DOWNLOAD THE ITINERARY The URT this month is NOVEMBER 17. We will likely sell out (100 spots) within 2-3 days and strongly suggest that you reserve your spots NOW.

The Ride to Defeat ALS is a cycling event designed for everyone, from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Participants can choose from one of three routes (62.5 miles, 25 miles, or 5 miles), each taking them through scenic parks and city-scapes in Pinellas County.

FREE Flat Repair Clinic – Nov 7 @ 5:30 pm
Come to the shop (212 E. Cass Street – FREE Parking in Back) and learn how to change a flat starting with removing the wheel from your bicycle all the way through to replacing the tube, tire, proper inflation and re-installing the wheel and ensuring brakes are safely reset.

An evening on the town with tapas, more tapas, an award winning film, dessert and a few refreshing miles of urban bicycling in between. The itinerary looks like this…
- 4:30-5:30 – Sign-in/Tapas at Malio’s Prime
- 5:40-6:40 – Tapas at Mise En Place
- 7:00-7:30 – Seating at Cinebistro
- 7:30-9:25 – Bicycle Dreams (see trailer below)
- 9:30-10:30 – Dessert at Timpano Italian Chophouse
And you will want to dress to impress. Consider our destinations and their usual dress code. This is a low impact social ride.
Cost of the event is $30 per person (plus applicable service fees: $2), which includes a $10 donation to the ALS Foundation, Florida Chapter, your Cinebistro movie ticket and delectable tastings at Malios Prime, Mise En Place and Timpano Italian Chop House.
