This is a BYOB Event (Bring Your Own Bicycle). Participants ride at their own risk. City Bike Tampa, their sponsors and restaurants are NOT responsible for cyclists or their bicycling equipment. We have asked the participating venues to provide food for our guests. The decision to imbibe is left up to each individual rider.
Triple Rush Viewing Party This Thursday
Viewing party this Thursday night at the Sail Pavilion (bar outside the Tampa Convention Center) from 9:00 to 11:00pm to watch the premier of Triple Rush (see trailer), which starts at 10:00pm on Travel Channel.

The show conveniently lands on a night when we are out riding anyhow and I’m pretty sure we can cash in some frequent flyer miles to get them to put their TVs on the right channel at 10:00.

Let the Countdown Begin – Urban Restaurant Tour is Less Than 3 Weeks Away!
April 28th is bound to roll around fast!
Last night’s URT was worth the wait…we totally stuffed ourselves with panini, gelato, wings, fries, salad, the most amazing mac-n-cheese ever, shredded pork, tender juicy beef brisket, cole slaw, steamed veggies, boneless chicken breast, more salad and who could forget dollar drafts!
Over $481 in Raffle Prizes Given Away Last Night!
And how about that hot new collection of I “BIKE” Tampa t-shirts? Last night we gave away an unprecedented $481 in SWAG from the corner of Ashley and Polk at Taps Wine and Beer Merchants. If you were one of the unlucky few who didn’t win anything last night, NOW you’re in LUCK…our next URT is right around the corner.
Anyone who thought Kellie would need a few days to recover from last night was dead wrong. Bright and early this morning she was back at it and today secured the following venues for the April 28 ride:
- SONO Cafe for registration and the usual crowd faves
- Sunset Grille at the Tampa Heights Old Trolley Barn…just in time for the sunset!
- Spaghetti Warehouse in Ybor Square
- The Bricks on 7th Avenue, Ybor City
- Urban Cantina (Ole!)

Advanced payment ensures your spot on the list as space is limited to 100 riders. If you would like to pay your entry fee when you arrive on the evening of the ride, we will be glad to accommodate you at a cost of $15 per person (space permitting).
March 31 Urban Restaurant Tour – Route Details and More
POSTPONED
due to Rain / Lightning: Constant & torrential - Ride will be postponed until next THURSDAY, 4/7/2011.
Tomorrow night’s Urban Restaurant Tour is sold out, but for the lucky 100 or so who reserved their spots earlier this month, our planned route is below (you will have to zoom in, a lot…sorry. Blame Google).

We anticipate 3 possible scenarios:
1. No rain - We are totally blessed and poised for an “epic” ride.
2. Rain: mild to moderate - Still going to ride, same route, same schedule. Dress accordingly. Perhaps we will throw a set or two of fenders in the raffle basket.
3. Rain / Lightning: Constant & torrential - Ride will be postponed until next THURSDAY.
Bottom Line
We will ride in the rain; however, for the safety of our guests, we will not ride in thunderstorms. If this should occur, the tour will be post-poned to next Thursday (4/6/2011) with the same itinerary.
We will let everyone know between 4:00 & 4:30 tomorrow if the tour is post-poned. If you do not see anything posted on our website & facebook by 4:30 it is still on. If in doubt, call the store at 225-1777. Ride On.
