Things you should know about City Bike Tampa…
Downtown Tampa’s large expanse of urban attractions is the perfect place to ride anything from a cruiser bike to a lightweight road racing bicycle and anything in between. Bayshore Blvd Linear Park is over 4.5 miles long (in each direction) which is the perfect compliment to historic Hyde Park, Davis Island, Ybor City, Channelside, UT, the Riverwalk and downtown city streets for the ultimate urban experience!
While you are not legally permitted to ride sidewalks in Tampa’s downtown, we have bicycle lanes on several major roads within the urban corridor. Discover InTown Tampa guide books and maps are available to everyone for free.
For your comfort and ease most bikes have quick release seat height adjustment. Law requires helmets for those under 16 years of age. For a better fit you may choose to bring your own helmet.
A credit card deposit is required for all rentals, no exceptions.
We are authorized dealers for several of the hottest lines of urban street bikes, beach cruisers and mountain bikes from Kona, Manhattan Cruiser and KHS as well as Landpaddlers (long boards and big sticks) from Kahuna Creations, trail-a-bikes from Adams, jogging strollers and other recreational equipment. In our downtown store located at 212 E. Cass Street we will also offer gently used bikes and full repair services with sales of bicycle accessories and parts.
We have a delivery and pick-up service for most items, free of charge downtown and throughout South Tampa. There will be a charge for longer distances, please email for details.
Ask about or “Sunset Special”, a $24.95 rate from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m the next day!
